Delete Your Account & Data
reprouteapp.com and to the RepRoute Android app, published under the package name com.reprouteapp.app. You do not need to install the app to request deletion — see option B below.1. Who Can Request Deletion
Only the account holder may request deletion of their own account. If you can sign in, use option A — it is immediate and requires no waiting on us. If you have lost access to your account, use option B and we will verify ownership of the email address before acting.
Option A — Delete From Inside RepRoute
If you can still sign in, you can delete your own account at any time. No email to us, no waiting for a reply:
- Sign in at reprouteapp.com/login.
- Open Settings → Privacy & Data, then the Delete tab. The direct link is reprouteapp.com/settings/privacy?tab=delete.
- In the Delete account panel you may optionally tell us why you are leaving.
- Type
DELETE MY ACCOUNTexactly into the confirmation field. This phrase is deliberately never translated, so it is the same in every display language. - Press Delete my account.
Your account is suspended and you are signed out immediately. Nothing else is required from you.
Option B — Request Deletion Without the App
You can request deletion from any web browser, with no app installed and without being able to sign in — for example if you have uninstalled the app, lost your password, or lost access to your device.
- Open our contact form at reprouteapp.com/contact.
- Choose the topic Delete my account & data.
- Enter the email address registered to the account and ask us to delete it.
We will confirm that you control that email address before we delete anything — this protects you from someone else closing your account. Once ownership is confirmed, we start exactly the same process described in section 2, and the same 30-day grace period applies.
2. What Happens After You Request Deletion
- Immediately. Your account is suspended, you are signed out, and you cannot use the app during the grace period.
- Immediately. If you have a paid subscription, we set it to cancel at the end of the current billing cycle, so you are not charged again while you decide.
- Immediately. We email you a confirmation containing a one-click “Restore my account” link. That link is valid for 35 days. Using it cancels the deletion, restores your data intact, and un-cancels your subscription.
- After 30 days. A scheduled job performs the permanent purge described below. This step is irreversible — after it runs we cannot recover your account or your data, and neither can you.
The grace period exists so that an accidental or malicious deletion can be undone. If you are certain, simply do nothing and the purge runs on schedule.
3. What Is Permanently Deleted
At the end of the grace period we delete your login itself, which cascades to every record keyed to it, and we separately clear the data that lives outside our database. This includes:
- Your profile and login — name, username, email address, password, and any two-factor secrets and recovery codes.
- Your uploaded images — avatar and profile banner are removed from object storage, not merely unlinked.
- Your training data — programs, workouts, logged sets, personal records, and equipment profiles.
- Your health-related data — injury flags, body-weight history, nutrition logs, food-log entries, and nutrition targets.
- Your social data — friendships, follows, blocks, community comments, votes, saves, and comment likes.
- Your published community programs. These are deleted along with your account, not kept.
- Your settings and messages — preferences, email preferences, in-app notifications, and the log of Smart-feature usage.
- Your payment relationship — we cancel your Stripe subscription so billing stops and the payment processor releases the data it held for it.
4. What Is Kept, and Why
A small number of records outlive the account. Each one is either required as legal proof, required to keep the service safe, or is detached from your identity so that it is no longer about an identifiable person. Every period below is enforced by an automated retention sweep.
| Record | Why it is kept | How long |
|---|---|---|
| Deletion request | Proof that you asked us to delete the account, and that we did. Your account link is severed and your email is stored only as a one-way hash. | Kept as proof of your request |
| Consent history | Legal proof of what you agreed to and when, required to demonstrate a lawful basis for processing. Detached from your account; the recorded IP address is erased after 2 years. | 7 years, then deleted |
| Privacy audit log | Record of privacy actions taken on the account (export, deletion). Detached from your account. | 7 years, then deleted |
| Support messages | Kept as support history and an abuse trail. Your name and email address are overwritten at deletion time, so the message can no longer identify you. | 2 years, then deleted |
| Security logs | Sign-in history and rate-limit blocks, needed to investigate security incidents. Detached from your account. | 2 years, then deleted |
| Free-trial card fingerprint | A one-way hash the payment processor derives from a card, held only to stop the same card claiming repeated free trials. It is not linked to a live account, contains no card details, and holds no content about you. It is not removed by account deletion. | Retained for fraud prevention |
We may also keep anonymised aggregate statistics — counts that cannot be traced back to any individual and are no longer personal data.
5. Download Your Data First
Deletion is permanent, so export anything you want to keep before you request it. Signed-in users can download a complete machine-readable copy of their data from Settings → Privacy & Data → Export. Once the purge has run there is nothing left to export.
6. Deleting Some Data Without Closing Your Account
You do not have to delete your whole account to remove specific data. Individual workouts, logged sets, weight entries, food entries, injury flags, and published community programs can each be deleted from within the app while your account stays open. If you only want to stop receiving email, use the unsubscribe link in any message or the email preferences in Settings → Privacy & Data.
7. Your Other Rights
Deletion is one of several rights you hold under the Thailand Personal Data Protection Act and, where it applies to you, the EU General Data Protection Regulation. The full set — access, rectification, portability, restriction, objection, and how to complain to a supervisory authority — is described in our Privacy Policy.
